Moscow (Russia), Feb 17 (ANI): On his visit to Russia, Foreign Secretary of India, Harsh V Shringla said, “I just had a very good meeting with Foreign Minister Mr Lavrov. The Foreign Minister emphasized the importance attaches to the special, privileged, strategic partnership between India and Russia. I extended to him the invitation on the behalf of The External Affairs Minister to visit India and the Foreign Minister told me that he is looking forward to doing it at the earliest. We also spoke about the annual summit…There are large number of exchanges are on cards for the India-Russia relationship. We also discussed some regional and international issues of interest including our cooperation in the United Nation and UNSC where India is a permanent member now. We also spoke about issues like Afghanistan…We also spoke on how India and Russia can work together to deal with COVID-19…It is a very important relationship for both the countries and I think we will see some development in next few months that would reinforce the strategic partnership that we both enjoy.”
