Kashmiri leaders highlight Pakistan-led atrocities in PoK, Gilgit at an event in Birmingham

Birmingham (UK), Jun 23 (ANI): Kashmiri political activists from all over Europe held “International Kashmir conference on Peace, Human Rights and Counter Terrorism”, in Birmingham, UK. They discussed atrocities committed on people of Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) and Gilgit Baltistan by Pakistan. They also underscored the rampant plundering of land and resources in the region. Shabbir Choudhary,PoK activist said, “It is called Azad Kashmir but there is no Azadi there, situation is getting from bad to worse, especially with the diversion of rivers. They are creating enormous problems for the locals and people may be forced to migrate in the near future.”
