Kashmir was in a mess before Article 370 revocation: EAM Jaishankar

New York (USA), Sep 26 (ANI): Union External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Sep 25 said Jammu and Kashmir was in a mess before August 5, when the government revoked Article 370 from the state, adding that the step taken is a way of dealing with those difficulties. “Pre August 5 (abrogation of Article 370) Kashmir was in a mess. Difficulties in Kashmir did not start on August 5, it is supposed to be a way of dealing with those difficulties,” said Jaishankar.
