JCB accelerates economic activity in Thailand

Bangkok (Thailand), Mar 20 (ANI): Economic growth in Thailand is gaining momentum every year as the standard of living of the people has been changing. Also, people are having many choices in terms of payment methods. Hoping to benefit from such a situation, “Siam Commercial Bank” (SCB), a leader of the banking business in Thailand, and JCB International announced the official launch of “SCB JCB Platinum Credit Card” issuing in Thailand. JCB card is today issued in 23 countries and regions with more than 123 million card members, and is accepted by merchants around the world. In Thailand, digital transaction has increasingly replaced cash payment during the past decade. However, it is still a lot popular to carry cash for shopping and payment while it is in the middle of an evolution toward a "cashless society".
