Japan flood: Death toll reaches 103

Osaka (Japan), Jul 10 (ANI): Nearly 103 people have died so far as Japan faces a long recovery process after floods and landslides. The torrential rains in parts of Japan killed at least 90 people in the southwest, while 13 others have since died from cardiac arrests, raising the total death toll to 103, according to Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga, reported CNN. Reportedly, thousands of houses have been damaged, and even the ones that stand intact have been impacted. Nearly 17,000 households are still without power, and phone lines are down across multiple prefectures.
