Geneva (Switzerland), Mar 21 (ANI): Siding with the people of PoK on them opposing the digital census over their fear of ‘loosing local identity and demography’, UKPNP Central Secretary for Foreign Affairs Committee Jamil Maqsood on March 20 in Switzerland’s Geneva alleged Pakistan of lying and white washing the international opinion on ‘transparency’ and more. The political activist from further criticized Pakistan for violating its own constitution by conducting Digital Census in PoK and Gilgit Baltistan. “People are opposing because they are afraid of diminishing their local identity and their demography. Because in this process Pakistan want to include all those Pakistani nationals and specially the people from Afghanistan who were living there temporarily without any local rights. Pakistan want to include them into local population, they want to include them as indigenous people of that region,” Maqsood said. The comments were made at the 52nd Session of UN Human Rights Council while speaking to ANI.
