New Delhi, Jun 21 (ANI): Italy’s well-known writer Roberto Saviano has been threatened by Italy’s minister Matteo Salvini to remove the former’s police protection. Roberto Saviano has been under police protection for 10 years since his book published in 2006 exposed the activities of the Gomorra, a mafia organisation based in Naples. He is one of those journalists and writers who are under protection in Italy, due to constant threats to by mafia. Salvini has been Saviano’s biggest critic and had earlier opined for a review of former’s police protection.
