It is wrong to try Nawaz Sharif & Maryam in jail, only terrorists are tried there: PML-N President

Lahore (Pakistan), Jul 14 (ANI): As former Pakistan prime minister Nawaz Sharif and daughter Maryam will face trial in Adiala jail, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shahbaz Sharif said that it is wrong for them to face trial in a jail as only terrorists are tried inside a jail. Shahbaz Sharif said, “We've come to know that they (Nawaz Sharif & Maryam) have been taken to Adiala jail & they'll be tried inside the jail. Only terrorists are tried inside a jail. This is wrong. What message do you want to send across the country? To try them in a jail is a very wrong decision.” The NAB on Friday night took Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz into custody in connection to the Avenfield reference case after their flight landed at Lahore's Allama Iqbal International Airport amidst high drama.
