Jabalia (Gaza), October 15 (ANI): Israelis and Gazans continue to wake up to noises of airstrikes as the war between the two entered day 9 today. Thousands of Palestinians have fled the north of the Gaza Strip as Israel continues pounding the area with more air strikes. The fierce retaliation from Israel’s end has turned buildings into rubble and panic gripped the city. In the series of attacks, a convoy of ambulances was hit during an Israeli air raid in Gaza on October 14. The paramedics and rescue team were forced to scramble to an ambulance and drive away. A humanitarian corridor has been opened to enable civilians to move out of the war-torn Gaza Strip into Egypt. Israel asked Palestinians living in the densely populated territory to flee south towards a closed border with Egypt. Thousands fled north of Gaza Strip from the path of expected Israeli ground assault as Israel pounded the area with air strikes. In panic, Gazans are struggling to find shelter as they relocate in safer parts of Hamas-controlled Strip. There is no respite in sight with death toll mounting to over 2500 on both sides as Israel-Hamas remain locked in war .
