On October 07, Israel faced one of its worst attacks on Israel’s defenses in 50 years. Hamas fired a barrage of rockets and used paragliders, motorbikes, and four-wheel drive vehicles on overwhelmed Israel Defense Forces. Hamas tore through towns and communities, killing several people and taking dozens hostage. The ‘Surprise’ rampage of Hamas terrorists into Israel has torn families apart. IDF is in continuous contact with families and “working around the clock to return the hostages”. Meanwhile, IDF Spox Daniel Hagari said that they had notified the families of 199 hostages and the issue of hostages is a top national priority. However, Israelis are also searching for their displaced loved ones through social media and forums to track them. Kin of missing persons are seeking help from the Families of Hostages and Missing Persons Forum a group that was brought into existence to provide support to those affected by the crisis. After the recent attack from Hamas, Israel launched a barrage of missile attacks as a counter-offensive attack. As Israel and Hamas continue to be locked up in war, thousands have been killed on both sides, and scores of people have sustained injuries.
