Davos (Switzerland), Jan 25 (ANI): Addressing during the ‘World Economic Forum,’ German Chancellor Angela Merkel called on the countries to work together and face challenges together. She said that isolationism and protectionism were not solutions to the economic challenges facing countries around the world. Merkel also told the audience that she was open-minded about what kind of partnership the European Union would develop with Britain after Brexit, but noted that there could be no compromise on the EU's core principles in those talks. Politicians, business chiefs, bankers and celebrities are meeting in the Swiss Alps under the banner ‘Creating a Shared Future in a Fractured World’ for the gathering, that concludes on Friday.
