Birgunj (Nepal), Apr 7(ANI): Integrated Check-Post at Raxaul-Birgunj border starts operations after the inauguration with remote by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Nepalese counterpart K P Sharma Oli in New Delhi. Several goods-laden trucks crossed the Indo-Nepal border through this newly built integrated check post. The Integrated Check Post will provide 'one-window service' wherein a plethora of services like immigration, customs, quarantine, and banks as well as security check posts are available at the same place. Unlike the existing modes operations at the Birgunj customs point, importers and exporters can complete paper works and clear fees before containers arrive at the check post. The project cost Rs 1.39 billion provided by the Indian government.
