Santo Domingo (Dominican Republic), April 29 (ANI): External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar addressed the Indo-Dominican Business Event on April 28 where he talked about the challenges faced by both countries regarding cooperation in the field of strategic partnership. He also talked about the increase in the trade deal between both the countries in the last twenty years. While addressing the dignitaries, he said, “We have seen over the years a number of officials and business delegations visiting India and engaging with our business. I think the challenge for us today is how to expand, how to accelerate, how to expand the area of cooperation...that is the main objective of our meeting.” “The trade deal between the Dominican Republic & India was $12 million before we established diplomatic relations 20 years ago. Today, it has almost reached billion dollars,” he added.
