Colombo, July 21 (ANI): India’s High Commissioner to Sri Lanka Gopal Baglay on July 21 refuted the rumours calming that India helped President Gotabaya Rajapaksa escape the nation and called the rumours baseless. Speaking to ANI, the Envoy said, “These rumours are completely baseless. The decision that then President Gotabaya Rajapaksa took was his own. We have nothing to do with that decision or its implementation."
