Indian Embassy in Madagascar celebrates Hindi Day 2021

Antananarivo (Madagascar), Sep 15, 2021, (ANI): Hindi Day was celebrated at the Embassy of India Antananarivo on 14 September. The event was kicked off with a welcome remark by Ambassador Abhay Kumar. In his speech, he enlightened the importance of Hindi Day and the history of Hindi day celebrations in India. The event was attended by members of ITEC, ICCR alumni, Malagasy diplomats, Indian community and families of the Embassy officials. The event also showcased the video message of External Affairs Minister of India Dr. S. Jaishankar. A short Hindi animation movie was also shown during the event, followed by a special Hindi quiz that witnessed enthusiastic participation of the guests. Officials and the school children also narrated Hindi poems during the event. The event ended with a Hindi Day pledge taken by the Indian Embassy officials towards promoting the Hindi language.
