Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), May 02 (ANI): The Indian Army on Wednesday demonstrated training on the assembling of a radio controlled explosive device for Malaysian Army on third day of their first-ever joint military exercise "Harimau Shakti" at Wardieburn camp in Kuala Lumpur. The two-week long military exercise signifying the merger of the Indian and Malaysian contingents under one commander. The Indian Army contingent is being represented by 4 Grenadiers, one of the oldest infantry battalions which have rich operational experience in conventional as well as counter- insurgency warfare and also known as the Fighting Fourth in the Army circle. Earlier, as part of the cross training phase, the Indian army contingent was trained on pitching of bevouc. The day saw heavy rains but despite the inclement weather condition. This training is essential for jungle survival as part of any operations in jungle terrain. Also, training on field craft and battle craft was conducted at the wardieburn camp by the Instructor staff from the Army Combat Training centre.
