Kathmandu (Nepal), Feb 13 (ANI): Indian Army chief General Bipin Rawat arrived in Kathmandu on Monday on a three-day visit to Nepal to attend its Army Day function, which coincides with the 250th anniversary of establishment of the Nepali Army. Nepal will celebrate its Army Day on the day of Shivaratri, the festival that is devoted to Lord Shiva, on Tuesday. General Rawat, who arrived on a three-day visit on the invitation of his Nepali counterpart Rajendra Chhetri, will be amongst the chief guests at the Nepal Army Day parade at Tundikhel playground in central Kathmandu. This year, the Indian Army band will be performing along with their Nepali counterparts. Last year, General Rawat was conferred the title of honorary general of the Nepal Army by Nepalese President Bidya Devi Bhandari. He will return to New Delhi on Wednesday.
