Indian and UK Army showcase military prowess in ‘Ajeya Warrior-23' exercise

Salisbury (UK), May 10 (ANI): The bilateral exercise is being held at Salisbury Plains, UK till May 11. Ukand Indian Armies troops have been undertaking training at the Salisbury Plain in the UK for the past two weeks. UK’s 16 Air Assault Brigade Combat Team and 2nd Battalion of the Royal Gurkha Rifles and India’s 6th Battalion of the Bihar Regiment partook in exercise. The exercise aims to build military relations, imbibe each other’s best practices, and promote the ability to operate together. It also aims at The aim of exercise is to conduct training of troops in counter-insurgency and counter-terrorist operations in both Urban and Semi Urban areas. As part of the training, both the Armies familiarise themselves with each other’s weapons, tactics and techniques for carrying out joint operations.
