Washington DC (USA), (ANI) 22 (ANI): Ambassador of India to the United States, Taranjit Singh Sandhu on September 22 highlighted key elements of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s United States visit. “PM's visit to US has 6 broad elements- 1) bilateral meeting with Pres Biden, 2) meeting with VP Kamala Harris, 3) Quad Summit, 4) interactions with PMs of Australia & Japan separately, 5) interaction with select industry leaders, 6) UN section,” said Sandhu in an exclusive interview with ANI. “As you are aware, we are still under pressure of COVID and US particularly has that but President Biden has gone ahead and taken the initiative to invite PM Modi for his first one-on-one interaction. This isn't the first time they're meeting as in 2014 when PM Modi came for the 1st time, then VP Biden had hosted him for a lunch and in 2016, during historic address to US Congress Vice President had presided over. So, it's a continuation of that interaction,” he added.
