Nicosia (Cyprus), Sep 04 (ANI): While addressing a gathering at the House of Representatives of Cyprus, President Ram Nath Kovind said, “India is at exciting juncture and appealing business opportunity. Our GDP grew at a scorching 8.2% in the previous quarter. India is the world’s fastest growing large economy. This had happened due to determined effort and policy initiatives taken by the government to make India one of the world’s most open destinations for investment, a leading hub of technology startups and an easier place to do business”. He further added, “GST has led to uniform, simpler and digitally-enabled taxation in all our states. This is a historic achievement that can be compared to bringing European Union into a common fiscal framework”.
