New York (US), Mar 24 (ANI): India at the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) on March 23 called for increasing cooperation between United Nations and League of Arab States. Speaking at the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) meeting on cooperation between the United Nations and the League of Arab States (LAS), Foreign Secretary Harsh Shringla said, “There must be greater policy synergy between the 2 organisations (UN and League of Arab States). Regular and frequent consultations with League of Arab States will contribute towards meaningful outcomes.” “Engagement with the League and its members in post-conflict peacebuilding through reconstruction and economic development is equally important. The stability of the countries concerned should be ensured, especially women and minorities,” he added.
