India sends relief material to disaster-hit Madagascar

Antsiranana (Madagascar), Feb 01 (ANI): India has sent relief material to flood-hit Madagascar and deployed Indian Naval Ship Airavat to the island nation to extend assistance to the victims. There has been heavy flooding and landslides since last week as Madagascar was hit by a Cyclone.The Prime Minister of Madagascar, Christian Ntsay accepted the relief materials from the Indian ambassador at Antsiranana Port. The relief materials included rice, lentils, clothes, medicine, tea, and other essential consumer goods.
