Geneva (Switzerland), March 30 (ANI): Kashmiri Activist and Director of the European Foundation for South Asian Studies (EFSAS), Junaid Qureshi hailed Centre Government’s initiative to open Sharda Peeth Corridor in Pakistan Occupied Corridor. He said, “This religious tourism is very important to make people-to-people contact. Even though the diplomatic relations between the two countries (India and Pakistan) have not been as they should have been, these initiatives can provide some foundation to better the relationships. I think it is a marvellous initiative. “Sharda was one of the first learning centres in the world. This is our heritage. The Pakistan government must respond to it very positively,” he added.
