Description: Birgunj (Nepal), August 28 (ANI): In a major push to strengthen bilateral economic ties, the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI), in collaboration with the Consulate General of India in Birgunj, organized the India-Nepal Economic Partnership Summit 2025. The event was co-hosted by NICCI Birgunj Chapter, NADA Automobile Association of Nepal, and PHDCCI India-Nepal Centre.Industry leaders, trade bodies, and policymakers from both nations joined the summit. Chief Guest Devi Sahai Meena, Consul General of India in Birgunj, underlined the growing trade partnership, while Dr. Sohan Prasad Sha, Vice Chairman of Madhesh Province Policy and Planning Commission, emphasized India’s key role in Nepal’s investment future.Bilateral trade touched USD 7.87 billion in FY 2023–24, reaffirming India as Nepal’s top trading partner and largest investor.
