Tokyo (Japan), September 1, 2025 (ANI): Kazuya Nakajo, Executive Advisor, Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) said, “...We can do more to build the semiconductor industry in India… There were about 150 MoUs (this time). In PM Modi's last visit in 2019, there were about 60 MoUs and it was mostly focused on manufacturing and digital. But this time, it is more diversified. For example, some are in semiconductors, some are in AI. There are collaborations in quantum, and some are in the space sector. So that is reflecting the new trend of the world to build a strong supply chain in these advanced technology areas...”
