Nuremberg (Germany), Feb 11, 2026 (ANI): India-EU working on India-EU FTA on a “very fast track basis, trying to speed up the process”, said Commerce Secretary Rajesh Agrawal. Commerce Secretary expressed strong optimism about the landmark agreement, hailed opportunities for both Europe & Indian market. "Not only trade will grow, but investments” Commerce Secretary emphasized that the agreement’s impact would impact beyond traditional trade. Secretary also acknowledged the lengthy process involving legal scrutiny and translation to structure and frame the FTA. Agrawal also detailed his discussion with European counterparts, including Min of Agriculture of Germany, highlighted details of FTA to create synergies.
