India considered first responder in humanitarian situations: EAM S Jaishankar in Munich

Munich (Germany), Feb 19 (ANI): India is considered a first responder when it comes to humanitarian situations, said External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on February 19. Speaking at the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference event, Jaishankar said, “From Mozambique to the Philippines, India is considered a first responder when it comes to humanitarian situations. So, we are walking the talk.” On the occasion of 75 years of India’s independence, the Observer Research Foundation (ORF) in collaboration with the Ministry of External Affairs, India hosted a discussion at the Munich Security Conference. The MSC is expected to extensively deliberate on the escalating tension between the NATO countries and Russia over Ukraine.
