India celebrates World Bicycle Day in Madagascar

Antananarivo (Madagascar), May 3 (ANI) World Bicycle Day is observed on June 3rd. The day is marked to spread awareness about the benefits of using a bicycle. Bicycle is a simple, clean, and sustainable means of transportation. The Embassy of India celebrated the day in Antananarivo, Madagascar. A bicycle ride was organised on this occasion. Over 60 bicyclists from various bicycle clubs in Madagascar participated. India announced donation of 15,000 bicycles to Madagascar. The representatives of the Madagascar government also registered their presence.
