New York (USA), Feb 26 (ANI): India on February 26 abstained from voting on UNSC resolution condemning Russia's attack on Ukraine saying that the path of diplomacy was given up. India’s Permanent Representative to United Nations TS Tirumurti also said that India is deeply disturbed by recent turn of developments in Ukraine.He said, “India is deeply disturbed by recent turn of developments in Ukraine. We urge that all efforts are made for the immediate cessation of violence and hostilities. No solution can ever be arrived at the cost of human lives.”“It is a matter of regret that the path of diplomacy was given up. We must return to it. For all these reasons, India has chosen to abstain on this resolution” India's India’s Permanent Representative to United Nations added.
