Florida (U.S.A), Sep 10 (ANI): Hurricane Irma's powerful winds lashed the Florida Keys as the massive storm slowly began turning from Cuba's northern coast up into the Florida Strait. Hurricane Irma gained strength with a double barrel threat of destructive winds and life-threatening storm surges. Irma was forecast to dump up to 25 inches of rain over parts of the state, which the National Hurricane Center says could cause flash floods and mudslides.
