Barcelona (Spain), Oct 01 (ANI): Hundreds of people took to streets to demonstrate against the upcoming independence referendum. They marched through the central city on Saturday waving Spanish flags and holding placards reading 'Catalan is Spain'. The Catalan capital, Barcelona has been the site of several pro-independence rallies in the build up to Sunday's vote. Scores of Catalans are expected to vote today in a ballot that has been blocked by Spain's Constitutional Court and Madrid. The poll will be the region's second referendum in three years on independence.
