Human rights violations on rise in Pakistan’s Balochistan province

London (U.K.), 28 June, (ANI): The situation is grim in Balochistan, a resource-rich but poorest province of Pakistan.Enforced disappearance, tortures and killings of political activists, intellectuals, and women are rampant. The Baloch, a majority of whom migrated abroad to protect their lives, are frequently raising their concerns by holding protests and organising seminars. They want the international community, especially the United Nations, to listen to their grievances and make Pakistan accountable for human rights violations. The common people in the region have been experiencing various forms of atrocities caused due to illegal state activities
