How pandas spend winters in Moscow Zoo

Moscow (Russia), Dec 14 (ANI/TV BRICS): Ru yi and Ding ding, two pandas in Moscow zoo are preparing for the cold weather. Contrary to a popular belief, the black & white pandas are doing well through the winter season. Although, Pandas have less adaptability and any change is critical for them, the animals like the climate in the Russian capital. In winter, when the first snow falls, the bears rejoice like children.The main thing that changes in pandas with the seasons is their diet. With more activity in winter, the animals need more calories. The pandas' habitat is the bamboo forests in the highlands of China. Ru yi and Ding ding came to Moscow from Sichuan province in 2019. Thanks to the efforts of the Moscow zoo staff, the animals feel comfortable in Russia in any season.
