Hawaii volcano: Kilauea explosion ash cloud reaches up to 10,000 feet

New Delhi, May 20 (ANI): Locals have evacuated after lava flow from Kilauea volcano advanced to more than 1,000 feet in less than an hour. The explosion in the volcano on Saturday midnight produced an ash which rose to an estimated height of 10,000 feet. Airlifts have been initiated to speed up evacuation in the affected region. Four homes have been destroyed by the lava, so far. The air quality in the area deteriorated significantly after the eruption.
