Berlin, Germany, Sep 20, 2022, (ANI): The Baloch human rights activists and those living in exile have raised the issue of the grim human rights situation in Pakistan’s Balochistan at a conference held in Berlin. They were joined by Sindhi, Pashtun, Uyghur and other human rights activists from Germany and other parts of Europe. The most compelling issue in Balochistan is the enforced disappearances and the kill and dump policy, including the fake encounters. Activists said that Pakistan occupied Balochistan in 1948 and until now, millions of people have been killed and forcibly disappeared. The people are committing suicide because of their treatment in torture cells. Balochistan is Pakistan’s largest and resource-rich province, but the people are living in extreme poverty.
