London (United Kingdom), Jul 11 (ANI): Former Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif gave his statement to mediapersons in London on Wednesday before heading to Pakistan for his impending arrest under charges of corruption. He was accompanied by his daughter Maryam Nawaz Sharif, who is also sentenced to a long prison term along with a heavy fine. In his address Nawaz Sharif blamed Major-General Faiz Hameed, head of the Counter Intelligence wing in the ISI, and his team of breaking away candidates from his party forcibly. His statement is said to have been blacked out by the Pakistani media and is not being aired in his country.
