G-4 leaders seek early UNSC reforms

New York (USA), Sep 26 (ANI): Briefing the media on the G-4 meeting, joint secretary for United Nations political in the Ministry of External Affairs, Dinesh Patnaik, said that the minister felt the need for an early reforms of United Nations Security Council (UNSC) and expansion of permanent and non- permanent membership to enhance legitimacy, effectiveness, and representatives of the council. He added that the leaders also reviewed the progress of inter-governmental negotiation (IGN) and emphasis the need to revitalize the process.
