France, Jan 28 (ANI): River Seine’s levels rose further on Saturday and were set to hit a peak this weekend. The government's ‘Vigicrues’ flood monitoring body showed a slight increase overnight in the levels of the river in the capital. The level rose to 5.69 meters (18.67 feet). The Seine's overflowing waters have engulfed riverside walkways. Swans are now swimming in places where there are usually pavements. Residents of Villeneuve Saint Georges have been greatly affected by the increasing water levels of the Seine. Some areas are only accessible by boat.
