New Delhi, Sep 27 (ANI): Principal Secretary to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, PK Mishra addressed a gathering on 15th foundation Day of National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) in New Delhi. In his speech, he outlined the lacking points and appreciated the works done by NDMA throughout in past 15 years. He also talked about future responsibilities of NDMA and their challenges. “The requirement of our fire department in terms of man power, equipment, technology building and training NDMA has addressed the challenges. It is now time to revisit those guidelines keeping in view recent experiences and technological changes,” PK Mishra further added. NDMA, is an agency of the Ministry of Home Affairs whose primary purpose is to coordinate response to natural or man-made disasters and for capacity-building in disaster resiliency and crisis response.
