Geneva /London, 27 September 2021: - A large number of Kashmiri activists gathered here in London to protest the visit of Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi. While highlighting Islamabad’s state policy of nurturing and spreading terrorism in Kashmir and the region around Pakistan, they urged the UK leadership to corner the Pakistani leader on the subject. They chanted slogans calling Pakistan a ‘terror state’, and a ‘harbourer and supporter of terrorism’. Kashmiri activists said that Pakistan was using the terrorists to carry out ethnic genocide in Pakistan occupied Kashmir and over 500,000 Kashmiris were systematically killed by the state in the past seven decades. They also urged the international community to raise their issue in the United Nations, so that further damage could be avoided and Pakistan’s monstrous agenda of eliminating all Kashmiris and replacing their homes and shelters with terrorist garrisons can be prevented.
