Embattled Chipotle CEO Steve Ells has agreed to step down

USA, Nov 30 (ANI): Chipotle Mexican Grill’s CEO, Steve Ells has agreed to step down. The Mexican chain of fast casual restaurants said that it is looking for a “new leader with demonstrated turnaround expertise" after Ells’ announcement. Ells, who has held or shared the CEO role since founding Chipotle in 1993 said in a statement that: "Bringing in a new CEO is the right thing to do for all our stakeholders." Chipotle's shared rose nearly 3 percent on Wednesday. Ells will stay on as executive chairman and will join a search committee for a new CEO.
