Elon Musk unveils the new Twitter logo “X”, bid adieus to Twitter’s iconic bird

Elon Musk unveiled a new logo for Twitter on July 24 IST that featured a white “X” on a black background. The logo was also projected on the exterior of the company's offices in San Francisco. The Twitter handles for Musk and Twitter CEO Linda Yaccarino now feature the “X” Logo. Taking to Twitter, Elon Musk on July 23 expressed his desire to change Twitter's logo. In a tweet, Musk wrote, “We shall bid adieu to the Twitter brand and, gradually, all the birds”. In another tweet, Musk wrote, “If a good enough X logo is posted tonight, we’ll make go live worldwide tomorrow”. Reactions started pouring in as soon as Musk tweeted about the change in the Twitter logo. Musk also shared a video on Twitter where the ‘bird’ logo is being replaced with an “X” symbol.
