EAM Swaraj meets Vice President of Panama on sidelines of UNGA

New York (United States), Sep 24 (ANI): Union Minister of External affairs Sushma Swaraj on Wednesday met Isabel Saint Malo, Vice President of Panama on the sidelines of United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York. Both the leaders held a bilateral meeting. EAM Sushma Swaraj is set to attend a meeting of the BRICS, IBSA and SAARC on September 27. EAM Swaraj’s statement in the UNGA will take place on September 29. Sushma Swaraj was also slated to meet her Pakistani counterpart Shah Mehmood Qureshi on the sidelines of the UNGA. However, after increasing reports of violence on police and army personnel in Jammu and Kashmir, the meeting was called off. Apart from participating in the General Debate, Swaraj, during her jam-packed schedule, will hold a total of over 30 bilateral meetings as part of her visit to the United States.
