EAM Swaraj meets President of Kyrgyzstan

Issyk Kul (Kyrgyzstan), Aug 03 (ANI): External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj met President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov in Kyrgyzstan's Issyk Kul on Friday. Both dignitaries discussed measures to expand and reinvigorate India's ties with the Central Asian country across all sectors. EAM Swaraj today arrived in Kyrgyzstan. It is her first trip to Astana, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan as External Affairs Minister. In the final segment of the trip, Swaraj will visit Tashkent, Uzbekistan on August 4. The minister will also hold in-depth discussions with Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulaziz Kamilov. The visit to the three nations is aimed at enhancing engagement with this region which is India's extended neighbours.
