EAM Swaraj meets Japanese Foreign Minister on sidelines of UNGA

New York (US), Sep 28 (ANI): Union Minister of External Affairs Sushma Swaraj met Japanese Minister of Foreign Affairs Taro Kono on the sidelines of United Nations General Assembly (UNGA). Both the leaders later held a bilateral meeting. EAM Swaraj and Kono discussed ways to strengthen bilateral ties between both the countries. They also discussed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit and its preparations to Japan this year. The EAM also met Syrian counterpart in New York on September 27. She held a bilateral meeting with Syrian Foreign Minister Walid al-Moualem on the sidelines of UNGA.
