EAM S Jaishankar emphasises on diplomacy amid Russia-Ukraine crisis

Munich (Germany), Feb 19 (ANI): Underlining the tensions going between Russia and Ukraine, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on February 19 emphasised on diplomacy and said that diplomacy is the answer to resolve the crisis. Speaking at the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference event, Jaishankar said, “At the end of the day, diplomacy is the answer. One has to look at ways of reconciling. The most welcome development in last 2 years has been Europe's commitment to Indo-Pacific, something which is very essential for our stability and prosperity.” On the occasion of 75 years of India’s independence, the Observer Research Foundation (ORF) in collaboration with the Ministry of External Affairs, India hosted a discussion at the Munich Security Conference. The MSC is expected to extensively deliberate on the escalating tension between the NATO countries and Russia over Ukraine.
