EAM Jaishankar attends Dr Ambedkar’s commemoration ceremony in New York, says ‘his legacy became more valuable with time’

New York (USA), April 15 (ANI): External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar attended the commemoration ceremony of 131st Birth Anniversary of Dr B R Ambedkar at Consulate General of India on April 14 (Local Time) in New York. During the event, the minister said, “The legacy of Dr BR Ambedkar, as architect of the Indian Constitution, has actually become even more valuable with the passage of time. Today, Dr Ambedkar's vision and aspirations are the blueprints that guide us.” Notably, India’s External Affairs and Defence Ministers, S Jaishankar and Rajnath Singh, are in the US to meet their American counterparts, Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and Secretary of Defence Lloyd Austin.
