EAM Dr S Jaishankar is to embark on a six-day visit to Uganda and Mozambique today

New Delhi, April 10 (ANI): EAM Dr S Jaishankar will be on an official visit to Uganda and Mozambique from April 10 to 15. During the visit to Uganda, Jaishankar is expected to hold delegation-level talks with his counterpart General Jeje Odongo. EAM Jaishankar will also inaugurate transit campus of the National Forensic Science University in Jinja. India, Uganda is likely to sign an MoU on setting up the first-ever campus of NFSU outside India. He will participate in the ground-breaking ceremony of a solar-powered water supply project in Uganda. EAM will also address the trade & business community of Uganda and have an interaction with the Indian diaspora. Dr Jaishankar will visit Mozambique from 13 to 15 April. This will be the first-ever visit by an EAM of India to Mozambique. Minister will also co-chair 5th Session of the Joint Commission Meeting with Mozambican Foreign Minister Macamo. He is also expected to meet several other Ministers and representatives of the Assembly of Mozambique. EAM’s visits to Uganda, Mozambique expected to further strengthen India’s strong bilateral relations.
