New Delhi, Mar 29 (ANI): A former Russian intelligence officer who worked with President Donald Trump's former campaign officials Paul Manafort and Rick Gates communicated with Gates during the 2016 campaign. That bombshell emerged in court records filed late Tuesday by Special counsel Robert Mueller's office. The link is significant because the current charges against Gates and Manafort relate only work in Ukraine, years before they worked for Trump, and not their activities during the 2016 campaign. The records concern the case of Alex Van Der Zwaan, a Dutch lawyer is about to become the first person to be sentenced in Mueller's Russia investigation. However, Trump has repeatedly denied any collusion took place.
