Discussed Ukraine, G20, UN reforms with Russian Courterpart Lavrov: EAM Jaishankar

New York, Sep 25 (ANI): External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on September 24 said that he and his Russian Counterpart Sergey Lavrov discussed various issues including Ukraine, G20 and UN reforms. “Discussed bilateral cooperation, the UN reform, and spoke on issues related to Ukraine. He briefed me about developments from a Russian perspective. There was a discussion on G20 as it's coming up in a few months,” said Jaishankar. “Big concern was conflict itself. He gave me his perception & concerns of Ukraine. In terms of India, we had a discussion on our position. He appreciated that we were against the continuation of conflict & for return to dialogue and diplomacy,” he added.
